Bus Stop Theatre Co-op
The Bus Stop Theatre was founded in 2003 by Howard Beye, as a space for emerging artists and engaged audiences. Over the last decade it has been host to a rotating cast of production companies, artists, musicians and dancers. It is Halifax’s only black box performing arts rental venue, seeking to develop, operate, and maintain an affordable and professionally run venue, which fosters the creation and production of works by emerging and established performance artists. Registered formally as a not for profit in 2012, the BST is a Cooperative with an annual membership.
