Karen Gross is a Halifax based emerging arts administrator. With the King’s Theatrical Society she has coordinated and also produced the King’s Infringement Festival, an annual festival of more than twenty student written plays. Karen has also worked with 2b theatre company for the past two years to plan their major annual fundraiser and coordinate youth outreach activities, including a series of workshops for university students. In May 2013 she produced the Solo-icious Festival (an interdisciplinary festival of solo performances) at the Bus Stop Theatre, and in July 2013 she produced Keep Good (Theatre) Company’s first show, Mr. Marmalade. Most recently, Karen co-founded and coordinated the StART Festival of student art at the Bus Stop Theatre in March 2014. In May, she graduated with a combined honours degree in Contemporary Studies and Theatre Studies from the University of King’s College.
