Erin Taylor is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Fountain School of Performing Arts (’17) where she obtained a BA with Combined Honours in Theatre Studies & Music, with a minor in Management. She is delighted to be synergizing those areas of study as the new Administration & Communications Coordinator for SAM. In addition to looking after the SAM office, she will be providing administrative assistance to SAM clients, Theatre Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Masterworks Arts Award Foundation. She’ll also be the one tweeting, posting, and ‘graming all things SAM!
When she wasn’t busy being a student (and sometimes even when she was!) Erin completed administrative work with Opera Nova Scotia, Eastern Front Theatre, and Xara Choral Theatre Ensemble. She currently sits as a Board Member for the Musqudoboit Valley Bicentennial Theatre & Cultural Centre in her hometown and is an active volunteer with their biennial musical productions.
Erin comes to SAM after completing a CHRC Internship with Theatre Nova Scotia. She loved TNS so much that you can still find her in their office on Fridays as their Communications Coordinator. She is looking forward to continuing her work in arts administration and doing her part to help SAM in their mission to grow and develop the arts in Nova Scotia.
