SAM operates in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. The Mi’kmaw Nation has lived here for thousands of years, and we recognize them as the past, present, and future caretakers of this land and its waterways. As we strive for a more inclusive and respectful community, we acknowledge that we are all Treaty People.
