Kinetic Studio

For 29 years Kinetic Studio, partnering with Dance Nova Scotia, the provincial umbrella dance organization, has been a vital force in the dance community – staging performances, offering professional development workshops, assisting young choreographers, and working to raise the profile of contemporary dance in the province. The flagship of our activities is the Kinetic Studio Performance Series – dance events that run annually at our home studio of DANSpace and at professional theatres in the community. Choreographers from across Nova Scotia participate in the series as well as invited guests from other parts of Atlantic Canada, and beyond!
