More About Erin

Erin Taylor is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Fountain School of Performing Arts (’17) where she obtained a BA with Combined Honours in Theatre Studies & Music, with a minor in Management.

Erin entered the arts administration world through a six month Cultural Human Resource Council internship with Theatre Nova Scotia (TNS) in 2017. Post-internship, she remained with TNS part-time as their Communications Coordinator and was lucky enough at that time to also join SAM part-time as their Administration and Communications Coordinator. Through her role with SAM, she also provided administrative assistance to SAM client, the Nova Scotia Masterworks Awards Foundation. After four educational and skill-developing years, Erin moved into the public sector as Communications Coordinator for the Municipality of East Hants in 2022.

A lifelong lover of the arts and their power to build communities, Erin currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Musquodoboit Valley Bicentennial Theatre & Cultural Centre in her hometown, where she happily puts the skills she learned in communications to good use and is developing many more as the organization explores streaming and recorded productions.

A burgeoning shutterbug, Erin also enjoys photography, videography, and video editing.
