Sarah Maloney is a sculptor whose work has been exhibited across Canada in group and solo exhibitions. She received her BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and her MFA from the University of Windsor. While working and exhibiting regularly as an artist Maloney has also worked as an arts administrator; as Program Manager, St. Cecilia Concert Society, Halifax, Coordinator of Gallery Connexion and as Executive Director of the New Brunswick Crafts Council both in Fredericton New Brunswick. Maloney has written numerous successful project and operating grants for those organizations, as well as for the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Eyelevel Gallery, and Halifax Ballet Theatre. She has served on several National Boards including CARFAC, the Canadian Crafts Federation and Access Copyright Board. She also has experience in book keeping, communications, marketing, press releases, events organization and management, fundraising, website development. She currently teaches part-time in Foundation and Sculpture at NSCAD University.
